Immerse into Romanian traditional peasant life in the Village Museum, one of the biggest and most impressive open-air museums in Europe. The museum dates back to 1936, hosting 270 original houses, brought here from different villages of Romania.

One of Bucharest’s main symbols. The monument commemorates the victories of the Romanian Army in the War of Independence and the First World War. The current arch is here since 1936 built as a copy of the one in Paris with 27 metres height and a small museum inside, open only on special occasions.

You might have seen something very alike in Moscow or Warsaw. The House of the Free Press’’, inspired by Lomonosov Moscow State University, was finished in 1957 as headquarters of the main communist newspaper, ,The Spark’. Hard to believe, but till 2007 the building used to be the tallest one in Bucharest. Nowadays, it is still used as typography and dedicated to the press.
