About this activity
Prahova Valley is one of the most famous regions in the Carpathian Mountains and includes wonderful tourist destinations such as Comarnic, Breaza, Sinaia, Buşteni, Azuga and Predeal. Most of these cities are mountain resorts famous for their splendid landscapes, offering many tourist attractions both in summer and winter seasons.

In the cold season you may enjoy skiing, sleighing, snowboarding along the slopes of Sinaia, Busteni and Predeal while in the summer you may choose to enjoy the nature by venturing out on a hiking expedition of the scenic Bucegi mountains plateau under the professional and fun guidance of the local mountain tour guides.

Besides the specific mountain activities, the region also offers many tourist attractions such as Peles castle, Sinaia monastery, Cantacuzino castle, Caraiman mount monastery and the cross of the national hero built on top of the mountain, will definitely mesmerise and delight your spirit.

Itinerary:

Sinaia, the famous mountain resort located at the feet of the Carpathian Mountains, is going to be the first stop. Here you visit the Peles Castle, one of the most amazing castles of Europe. Built at the request of King Carol I, the castle was the most modern castle of its times.

In Sinaia you’ll get to visit the local monastery, an impressive testimony of the Neo-Byzantine art.

Further on you’ll reach Transylvania where you’ll stop in Brasov. One of the most developed tourist destinations of Romania, Brasov is a fine example of a medieval town built by the Germans 800 years ago. Here you’ll admire the Black Church, the symbol of Brasov. After a short walking tour of Brasov you’ll be taken to Bran, probably the most famous landmark of Romania. Here you’ll visit the Bran Castle known as well as the Dracula Castle.

In the end you’ll be transferred back to Bucharest.

End of the tour.
