Outside Hungary it sounds unusual to include a typical Hungarian folk instrument, the cimbalom to perform with a symphony orchestra, but in Hungary the beauty of this instrumental combination has been known since the 19th century. It is a unique opportunity to hear the most popular classics interpreted by the Danube Symphony Orchestra in the romantic spirit of Christmas. The Christmas Gala Concert is the perfect way to embrace the holiday mood in Budapest.

The Symphony Concert starts at 17:00 and 20:00 consisting of two parts with an intermission in between.
