About this activity
Your personal guide will pick you up from your hotel in Budapest at an agreed time.

Take a look at the most beautiful bridges of the city and visit the Central Market Hall, the National Museum, Jewish Quarter with the largest Synagogue of Europe (from outside), Elisabeth square and the Business Quarter (National Bank, former Stock Exchange Palace, Parliament building). After passing by the Western Railway Station, Dózsa György street with the formal Parade square of Budapest and the Sport area, we arrive at City Park, where you can have a look at the largest medicinal bath of Europe called Széchenyi Bath, then there is the Zoo, Circus, Amusement Park and the Vajdahunyad Castle. After all this we come to a stop at Heroes’ Square.

After leaving the City Park we drive back to the center of Pest along Andrassy Avenue where we throw a glance at the House of Terror and the State Opera House. (Andrássy Avenue is part of World Heritage).

In the City Center we follow our tour with the inspection of the St Stephen’s Basilica (The largest church in Budapest).

We continue the tour and drive on to the "hills of Buda”.

In the Castle district (part of World Heritage) with its unique panorama, we take a walk and show you the Buda Castle, the Alexander Palace, the Dísz square, the Holy Trinity Square, the famous Matthias Church, and the Fisherman’s Bastion (look-out terrace).

Our next stop is the Gellért Hill (235m) with the Statue of Liberty, from where you can enjoy one of the most gorgeous panorama of Europe (this panorama is part of World Heritage). On the way down we can see the Gellért Hotel and Thermal Spa (as required the University Town and the National Theater, as well).

Finally we return to your hotel or any place of your choice in Budapest, where the tour ends.

During the city tour it is possible to visit different buildings from inside, for example: Central Market Hall, Jewish Synagogue, St. Stephen’ s Basilica, Parliament, Széchenyi Termal Bath, Matthias Church. Entrance fees are not included in the tour price.

Gabriel was a lovely tour guide, he was able to accommodate our needs as we had been to Budapest before. So, he customized the tour to show us attractions we had not seen. The car was a luxury vehicle, clean and comfortable with water for us and air conditioning. Gabriel was knowledgeable and professional, friendly, courteous and kind. Would absolutely recommend this tour!!

This was out first visit to Budapest and we wanted an efficient and interesting introduction to the city. Suzy and driver gave us an excellent tour and were most accommodating. Suzy was very knowledgeable and provided great information while recognizing our interests and tailoring the tour accordingly. I would highly recommend this tour.

Our quick tour of London was simply amazing. We had a long layover between international flights, so decided to book a tour of London. Raymond was incredible. He is very knowledgeable of British history and the city. Our family had a fantastic time. Raymond is the BEST!!

This was a nice overview of the city and sights of Budapest. The Mercedes Mini Van was perfect for the 4 of us and both the driver and guide were very professional. Denise was an awesome guide and she gave us lots of information about the history of Budapest. We did the tour on our first day in Budapest which was perfect since it helped us determine what we wanted to visit in more depth later in our trip..

Excellent tour guide. Used their private tours for Budapest and Vienna. Clean cars, respectable drivers and flexible owner. Felt safe as a solo traveler.

OMG this is the best tour ever! Book this tour for sure, you will not regret it. We had a Mercedes Benz van very comfortable but our tour guide Vera Ava was simple the best! She was so funny, knowledgeable, and gave us memories we will cherish forever! Ask for her if you can. Our only regret was that we didn't book this tour for the whole day.

First Class Experience! Our Guide Nagy was inspired, professional and a wealth of information. He and the excellent driver Bence took us to all the sights. We'd alight like royalty from our impressive Mercedes see the sight and be picked up like magic and off to the next amazing attraction. Nagy is a seasoned, likable pro who knows all the ins and outs. We simply could not have done better! Thanks! Roger and Bett!
