About this activity

You’re tour starts in the Holy Trinity Square with a 15-20 minutes orientation session (not included in quoted tour time) so that you feel comfortable and ready to go out and conquer the Castle District.

Ride on a Segway through the cobblestone streets and squares, grand palaces and buildings making up the entire castle area. Get to know the area's history - from the first stone laid in Medieval times to the present day modern use. Enjoy the old-world charm of Hess András, Holy Trinity and Disz Square, you’ll also have the chance to see sites slightly off the beaten path, like the Military Museum, National Gallery, Lions Courtyard and the Vienna Gate.

You’ll pass top attractions like Matthias Church, named after King Matthias, and also known as The Church of Mary, Fisherman’s Bastion, The Presidential Palace the Mary Magdalene Church Tower and Church along the way.

Your guide will end your tour with a glimpse of the seven towers. Head to the lookout point of Fisherman’s Bastion, which boasts one of the best views of the city. Take a picture from the top as you spot Margaret Island, Parliament and the beautiful waters of the Danube below. After admiring the panoramic view, you’ll glide back to your original departure point with your guide.

The training normally lasts between 20 - 30 minutes
Children must weigh at least 40 kg and be at least 10 years of age.
Parents/guardians must sign liability and waiver forms for any participants under the age of 18 years. No child / student rate at this tour. No infants allowed.
Tour goes in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately (we encourage our guests to bring hats and gloves to keep the extremities warm during colder months) Refunds/exchanges are not given due to unfavourable weather conditions.

The Segway is not appropriate for those weighing over 280llbs/130kg or under 90llbs/40kg
Anyone suspected of being under the influence of alcohol will not be permitted to ride and forfeit their right to do the tour, without refund. Insurance Waiver and Damage Deposit: Insurance requires everyone to complete a liability waiver (children under 18 years must have an adult sign for them)
For the safety of the mother and baby, we do not allow pregnant women to participate.
