With an unusual public transport we are travelling back in time to discover the World Heritage side of Budapest spiced with the history of the Hungarians.

Stop At: Hunyadi Ter, Andrássy út, Budapest Hungary

We stop in local market halls to try traditional Hungarian food examples: “lángos”, salami, cheesy scones (“pogácsa”), pickles.

Stop At: Szimpla Kert, Kazinczy utca 14., Budapest 1075 Hungary

Discovering the hidden gems of the Jewish district , like Szimla Garden. Hidden passages, green gardens, forgotten Synagogues, small designer stores, street art & ruin bars with the footprint of the WW II.

Duration: 50 minutes

Stop At: Hungarian State Opera House (Magyar Allami Operahaz), Andrassy ut 22, Budapest 1061 Hungary

Near the wonderful building what we will also see during the tour, traditional Hungarian sausages are waiting for you to taste in a family owned small spot.

Stop At: St. Stephen's Basilica (Szent Istvan Bazilika), Szent Istvan ter 1. Pest, Budapest 1051 Hungary

A must see sight of the city with hundreds of stories behind the scenes. Believe me, yo will see the city from a new perspective afterwards.

Petra was a warm, friendly, informative guide. I don’t think we missed ANYTHING in Pest! And, the food tastings were perfectly timed and delicious. The itinerary was as if she read our minds and knew exactly what we were interested in. She also gave us suggestions for restaurants the following day and told us the best times to see different attractions.

Petra was a wonderful tour guide taking us to the highlights of Budapest and also little known gems in the City. We experienced great food samples, local markets and a wealth of knowledge. I would highly recommend this tour.
