This was an awesome experience. Everyone at the Estancia was so nice and accommodating. My son and I had riding experience already and it was raining on the day we went so although we did not get to see a polo game after our lesson because of the weather. We got a private lesson because nobody else showed up. Our polo teacher Julio Casarez was charming and funny, he made us laugh and we felt right at home even when we were missing the shots, he stayed with us an entertained us all day. Like previously mentioned everyone of the ranch staff made us feel welcome and Griselda went out of her way to communicate with us and take care of us. We loved this tour, what a great day. This day was amazing! My husband and I are early 30s, and had never before ridden horses. We had a wonderful day with personalized attention, delicious food, and lots of time to play the game.

Good fun day out. Food and facilities were excellent. Instructor was knowledgeable and friendly. Would have liked photos taken of us when playing polo.

Great experience overall but we are experienced riders and found it really hard to enjoy the game because our poor ponies were so quiet and slow. I understand that they need to be quiet for inexperienced riders and would not have expected to be given valuable polo ponies of course. Our instructor was great, the food was nice, the grounds are lovely. We would return. We recommend.

This activity exceeded my expectations. I had never played polo before and knew very little about it and my experience riding a horse is about beginner/average. Julio was an amazing teacher and we had great fun playing polo and enjoying the beautiful grounds at Puesto Viejo Estancia. The hospitality was excellent - everyone so friendly, and the served a delicious steak lunch and appetizers before and after the polo experience. This was one of the highlights of our South America trip.
