About this activity
As you leave the well-trodden tourist routes to see a different side of Buenos Aires with your expert local guide, browse street art and graffiti, meet local artists and gain cultural insights into the political origins and modern-day issues of Buenos Aires. The Argentine capital is one of the world’s most exciting cities for street art, an art form reflecting the vibrant culture and artistic sensibilities of this sophisticated metropolis.

Your small-group tour is run in collaboration with Buenos Aires’ leading artists, taking you to the neighborhoods of Colegiales, Chacarita, Villa Crespo and Palermo to visit art studios, graffiti hotspots, open-air galleries and the city’s only street art bar and gallery. Admire the artists’ handiwork, with the opportunity to buy at affordable prices if you like, and listen as you guide explains the meaning behind urban murals.

All proceeds from this non-profit tour go to supporting Buenos Aires’ urban art scene.

The tour was a highlight of our trip to BA. It was off season and we were 2 of 3 on the tour. The guide was knowledgeable about the art and history. I highly recommend this tour.

My guide was Kat. She really knew great detail of the history of the painted houses, artists and the meaning behind each work of art. Every question was answered. I would really recommend this tour to see the true highlights of the area. As a side note, Kat was more than helpful with getting me back to the city and other tourist information.

We enjoyed this tour - got to see a lot of artists and understand the origin and history of the graffiti movement in Argentina. Learned about the different styles and the other cultural aspects of Graffiti. Lucresia is very knowledgeable, nice, courteous. Would suggest that she gets a small mic because at times its really hard to hear her given all the noises on the street. Kathleen the apprentice was nervous but did a great job with the small part she spoke about. Her English is great. I would recommend that we spend a bit less time at the beginning with all the history - felt long - maybe weave that in along the way as we see more graffiti. Glad we did this tour.

Great tour of northern Buenos Aires street art including informed commentary on the genesis and development of street art in BA and opportunities to visit galleries profiling the work of the artists seen on the tour.
