About this activity
Visit: Geumnyeonsan Youth Training Institute, 156 Hwangnyeongsan-ro, Gwangan-dong, Suyeong-gu, Busan, South Korea

* Highlights
- Cooking Gimbap in a character is fun because you will never know what shape the gimbap would look like until completed and cut.
- Strongly recommend a picnic to 5 minutes walk Gwangalli beach with the lunchbox.

1. Gimbap is one of the most popular Korean dish made with cooked rice and other ingredients that are rolled in dried sheets of seaweed and served in bite slices.

2. Gim and bap are the two basic components of gimbap - the compound term. 'Gim' refers to edible seaweed and 'Bap' broadly refers to 'cooked rice'.

3. The dish is often part of a packed meal, or dosirak, to be eaten at picnics and outdoor events.

4. The class lasts for two hours in English, Chinese, or Japanese.

5. You will make character Gimbap for one hour and decorate the lunchbox for the other one hour.
