About this activity
Your tour begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Busan or Ulsan. Learn about Ulsan, the industrial powerhouse with world's largest automobile assembly plant and shipyard.

Itinerary as follows:

1. Ganjeolgot

The Ganjeolgot is well-known for one of the early sunrise spots in east coast and its gorgeous view, and once became a location for TV drama “Flame of Desire”. Another specialty you should is the gigantic “Mail Box” where you can actually send mail after getting it stamped. Also, if you write your wishes on a “Wish Card” stored near the "Mail Box," the Ulsan MBC radio will broadcast the wishes for you. It could be another way enjoying this tour.

2. Lotte Hotel City View Big Wheel

Lotte Plaza holds various events providing exciting times to visitors. Customers can get on the ‘Big Wheel (a.k.a Ferris wheel)’ to check out what is happening around downtown.

3. Whale Life Experience Museum

Even before the existence of the Ulsan, way back to thousands of years, this area had an inseparable special relation with whales. The Whale Museum displays whale-related relics and information such as whale dismantling yard and huge oil tanks actually used in a whale-oil mill, which eventually disappeared due to prohibition of whaling. At the Life Experience Museum, you can see the dolphins named Gho Arong, Jang Kotbun and Gho Darong, all with friendly Korean names and citizenship.

4. Whale Culture Village

Here at the Whale Culture Village, you will have a chance to experience what it was like back in the days. The old village of Jangsaengpo Port was restored for tourists to enjoy. They offer a great course for youths to have a scientific experience and learn about the history. This zone is always brimming with tourists.

5. Daewangam Park

The Daewangam Park is geographically the easternmost place of Korean peninsula and was livestock farm during the Chosun dynasty. There is a light house built in 1906 has its name “Ulghi Light House”, and this is the origin of the name Ulghi Park since 1962, and renamed as Daewangam Park in Feb. 24, 2004. Sea wave and ‘Fantastic Shape Rocks’ makes panoramic view, and 15,000 woody big cone pine tree of over 100 years old forest makes this park one of the top 12 scenic spots of Ulsan This tourist attraction is the place people can enjoy both sea and forest at the same time.

6. Ulsan Bridge Observatory

Ulsan Bridge Observatory is four stories high, 203 meters tall, the same height as Hwajeongsan Mountain. If you go up to the top of the bulding, you can see not only Ulsandaegyo Bridge, but also Ulsan Port, the petrochemical complex, and shipbuilding site. Because of this unique scenery, there are 400-700 visitors daily, and it’s becoming quite a renowned tourist attraction.
