Beomeosa Temple is located at the eastern edge of Geumjeongsan Mountain, a famous mountain in Busan. It is one of the three most famous temples in the south east region in Korea. With a history of over 1,300 years, it’s Busan’s most important temple and has a significant place within the tradition of South Korean Buddhism.

Geumjeongsan covers a large surface that extends into the north part of Busan and is the most beloved mountain to hike by locals since it has various amusing aspects each season. And on the trail, you will be able to hike along Korean fortress which is the largest one in Korea although it was lost some of its parts. The mountain is not startlingly tall, but has a graceful shape with dense forest and clear water fountains throughout the exquisite rocky cliffs, proudly representing itself as a famous mountain in Busan.
