About this activity

Meet your guide upon pickup at your hotel and hop in your comfortable, private minivan for the drive to Mt Geumjeong. Located halfway up the mountain is Beomeosa (Temple of the Nirvana Fish), originally built in 678 during the reign of King Munmu of the Silla Dynasty. Learn about the temple’s history as you explore the complex, including gates, halls, pagodas and stone lamps showcasing Korea’s traditional Buddhist architecture or If you want to see Haedong Yonggungsa temple that was built in 1376 during Goryeo Dynasty by the buddhist priest Naong who was the mentor of King Gongmin. it's situated on the beautiful coast of north-eastern of Busan, you can choose to go there.
Continue on to Gamcheon Culture Village, a fascinating hillside enclave decorated with pastel houses, sculptures and other art installations. Sometimes referred to as the ‘Santorini of the East,’ among other nicknames, Gamcheon as it’s known today was created during the rebuilding phase after the Korean War. Walk with your guide through the labyrinthine alleyways, perhaps stopping at the Sky Garden for the best views.
Enjoy hot stone rice with many delicious side dishes for lunch at a local Korean restaurant.
Afterward, you’ll experience more local life at the vibrant Jagalchi Fish Market, where you can find a diverse array of seafood and dried fish on display. Famous throughout the country, Korea’s largest fish market is representative of Busan, as are the female vendors in their aprons washing down their stalls.
Then drive to Mt. Hwangryeong, a popular destination for locals. From the top of the Mountain, you can view downtown Busan. On a sunny day, keep an eye out for Tsushima Island across the East Sea in Japan.
Your final stop, Gukje Market (International Market), provides plenty of shopping opportunities. Souvenirs and good bargains are easy to find. The wholesale market includes several venues, like Ggangtong Market, Manmul Street and Changsun shopping mall.
After a full-day tour visiting many of Busan’s top attractions, you’re driven back to your hotel.

Our group of four had only one full day to spend in Busan and booked a private guide and car for a day-long tour on November 17, 2017. Jade Kim was our English-speaking guide and driver. He understood we had only the one day, and he thoughtfully constructed a tour that gave us the best views and highlights of the city. Rather than take us to Busan Tower for a limited view of the city, he drove us up the mountain to Hwangnyeongsan Observatory that fulfilled his promise of a view that would be 800 better. It was spectacular! Photos attached A true bird-eye view of the impressive cityscape. Jade was also knowledgeable in our visits to Beomeosa Temple, the fish market, Gamcheon Culture Village and shopping areas. He drove skillfully through the confusing streets of Busan, and arranged a delicious and satisfying Korean lunch at a family-run restaurant. Although our time in Busan was brief, Jade was able to give us a sense of the city and memorable experiences. We highly recommend the tour and our guide.

Great Customer Service and Travel Experience! We highly recommend this tour with the amazing service, hospitality, knowledge info and experience we had with our tour guide - Mr. Jade Kim. We booked this tour on the height of the Golden Week holiday in Korea. There were high number of tourists both local and foreign as well as heavy traffic around the area where holiday makers converge as well as the main highway. Our tour guide Jade did his best to make sure that we don't get tired and made us feel comfortable. He offered us alternatives and readily agrees to our suggestions so we can make the most of time. I would highly recommend this tour and kudos to Jade Kim for your great service because of this tour we learned more about the culture, beauty and history of Busan. I will be back again :
