Stop At: Songdo Skywalk, 129-4, Amnam-dong, Seo-gu, Busan South Korea

The sky walk has drawn attention as the first of its kind in Korea, and for its long, curving trail. To date, the first section of the walk

has been installed and measures 104 m, stretching around Geobukseom Island. When completed next February, the Songdo Sky Walk will

set a new record as the longest ocean walk in Korea at 296 m in length and 2.3 m in width.

giving people the true sensation of walking on water. It is positioned 5.5~8 m above sea level making it far closer to the sea than

the Oryukdo Sky Walk, which is positioned 37 m above the shore, along a seashore cliff. Everyone will be able to enjoy the thrilling and

During Korea war, displaced people built houses on it even on the top, but 2 times of big fires took all them away making it bald mountain. Since then, fierce efforts to plant trees have created such beautiful park. The name of the park was once Unam park in the time of the Liberal Party’s ruling but it went back to Yungdosan park after April revolution (1960). It is a place with beautiful scenery. We scheduled this for a 9-5 trip. Another cruise ship was also booked and we lost 30 minutes that morning and had to be back 30 minutes early. We would have been concerned but the guide juggled everything and made it a great tour. Beth was her American name.

We were a small group. Just my husband and myself and two sisters from Pennsylvania and our guide 'Beth' was excellent. She had a very good command of English and knowledge of her subject and was most charming and accommodating in allowing for my husbands bad back and trouble climbing lots of stairs. Whenever possible she left us and ran up 100,s of stairs to fetch our minibus.Highly recommended!

Our guide Beth was fantastic. She was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The places we visited were impressive. The cherry blossoms were spectacular. Beth also catered for my needs with an allergy to seafood.

It was an excellent shore excursion, saw many interesting sights and the tour guide was lovely, very knowledgeable and accommodating with my husband who could not walk as fast as the rest of the small group of 6 people. The other tour participants were younger and walking faster as us who are almost 80 but the guide made sure we caught up and did not get lost. She was waiting at the gate holding up a sign with our name when we got off the ship and got us back in plenty of time, there was never a worry that we might miss the ship. As a precaution to other travelers: there is quite a bit of walking and climbing involved in this trip but is well worth it.
