About this activity
Camels are one of the friendliest and most loving animals you will ever meet. When you are with them, you lose track of time and get entranced by their gentle, peaceful and fun personalities. Camel Quest takes you on a journey through the El Tule oasis located at the bottom of our canyon.

The tour is packed full of fun and includes a challenge field where you will participate in activities that will teach you about this magnificent species while you are having fun petting and interacting with them. Some of the camels are young and are specially trained to be ridden by kids, making this experience the best choice for families vacationing in Los Cabos looking for kid-friendly activities to enjoy with the entire family.

El Tule Canyon is an incredible place, the moment you arrive, you’ll immediately feel captured by its magic. Situated in the middle of the desert, the canyon features an oasis on the bottom which keeps the vegetation lush and green. And of course from here, you’ll never lose sight of the breathtaking sparkling Sea of Cortez. Upon your arrival at the park, you'll be introduced to the camels and learn tons of fascinating facts. After this, you will go to the loading zone where we are going to partner you with one of our camels.

We go to extraordinary lengths to make sure you’re completely safe while having a fantastic time. At Wild Canyon, we use only the best quality equipment certified by international standards. Our camels are our most loved friends and we do our best every day to make them as happy and comfortable as possible. We also have a team of veterinarians that monitor their health on a daily basis.

Our dromedaries are in continuous training by our professional team who use a positive reinforcement approach. This training is done by rewarding the camels with their favorite treats which motivate our camel friends to respond positively to our guide’s instructions.

After the ride, you will also meet cute lovebirds that will eat seeds off your hands and colorful macaws that will amaze you. Then off to Lion´s Den Restaurant to refresh yourself with a snack combo while you view your pictures with your new friends, The Wild Canyon Camel pack.

Make a splash at the water-slides! Our wet zone is without a doubt unlike any other! Covering a 840 square meter surface and reaching 8 meters high (at its highest point), this zone can hold up to 600 people with 300 people on top of the structure at once.

The pool is also 40 cm deep making it ideal for our littlest visitors. The floor is made up of a non-skid material giving the perfect surface for everyone to walk on without a problem. Looking up, you have the chance to see a bucket spilling 1,000 liters of water in waterfall form helping keep the water cool. Allow yourself to enjoy this refreshing experience in middle of the Los Cabos desert.

We had a great time meeting all the camels and enjoyed the short ride. It is something that we checked off the bucket list. Kissing a camel is something my family will never forget. The grounds at the canyon were great. The bus ride to the canyon was an experience. The roads are dirt and can be a bit bumpy. Don't ride in the back of the van if it can be helped. We would go back for the zip lines next time. The restaurant/snack bar was good as well.
