Todos Santos Combo Tour with Free Photos: City Sightseeing and Shopping

About this activity
After a morning hotel pickup in Los Cabos, travel with your guide north along the Pacific coast of the Baja Peninsula. Pass through picturesque towns like Migriño, Elias Calles and Cerritos, soaking up views of the ocean and the Sierra La Laguna mountains along the way. A photographer accompanies your small group for your convenience, allowing you to focus your attention on the sights. (Pictures are available online approx. three days after your tour.)
Stop at the coastal town of Pescadero, with a population of just over 2,300 people, and get to know the local industries. Visit a blanket-weaving factory and purchase one-of-a-kind souvenirs to take home; check out agricultural fields that produce organic fruits and vegetables.
Next, continue north to Todos Santos, a charming colonial town situated at the foothills of the Sierra La Laguna mountains. Located near the Tropic of Cancer, Todos Santos is a desert oasis partially surrounded by streams, orchards of mangos and palms, and colorful blooms.
Follow your guide for a walking tour of its historical center dating back to 1723. Swing by the town square, city hall, theater and a Jesuit mission church. Stop before an Aztec calendar and the monument of the gray whale and learn about their history. Visit the legendary Hotel California.
Check out the vibrant multicultural arts scene in Todos Santos and meet artists inside galleries. Head into shops to sample locally made candy and taste tequila, along with damiana, a local herb often used in preparing margaritas.
After your walking tour, enjoy two hours of free time to explore the art district and shops on your own. Your guide also provides recommendations on where to find a delicious lunch (own expense).
Your 6-hour tour ends with transport back to your Los Cabos hotel.

This is one fantastic trip. Our tour guild and driver were the tops and gave a great introduction to the area prior to our arrival. there was water provided under our seats alone the away. Dennis, played the music Welcome to Hotel California on the way and asked us what was the meaning behind the song? He will tell us when we arrived at the site. Boy what a surprise!! Our tour director introduce us to the artist at the different studios were we are able to talk to them about their work.

We were in Cabo for a week and didn't have a car. This day long excursion was well worth the money. We were picked up at our hotel on time and were with a small group in a new van. The driver and guide were both excellent. We stopped at a small weaving factory along the way and then were given a small walking tour of Todos Santos. We had enough free time to wander the shops on our own and have lunch at the Hotel California. So glad we took this tour as we would not of been able to get there on our own.

Very well done from pickup to drop off. Our Guide was a wealth of knowledge thru out the trip. The Blanket Factory was very interesting and had beautiful pieces of work. The town of Todos Santos was fun with so many places to view their wares and buy. We ate at the Hotel California and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this trip to everyone.

Todos Santos is an interesting little town with several artisan run galleries for paintings, sculpture, handicrafts and jewelry. Most shops however are simply run of the mill chotchke emporiums like you can find anywhere else in Mexico. The Hote California visit is nothing you could not do yourself and only perpetuates a historical inaccuracy that this is the inspiration for the song. The guided walk through town is not much more than an escorted stroll up a few streets and into a few of these galleries. Other stops on the tour are of questionable value or use of time, in particular the Baja Bean roasters nothing more than a coffee shop in the middle of nowhere. The tour was well organized and executed, but other than providing convenient transportation for our hotel to Todos Santos and back, had little to recommend or offer. Not worth 5 hours of your time.

Sitting at the bar in the Hotel California, the best. Eagles still running through my mind. Walking around town, many artists and crafts. Beautiful countryside. We will definitely return again soon.
