About this activity
Start your tour at the Roman archaeological site of Baelo Claudia, a Roman city from the late 2nd century BC., Which is primarily dedicated to the sale of North Africa, the processing and salting of tuna and the production of garum.
After an extensive visit and tour of the Roman town you visit a tuna fishery, in Barbate, where you get an insight into the cutting, smoking and salting of red tuna. After a little tasting and with a gift in hand, you leave the premises of the factory towards the center of Barbate. At the beach promenade there are various choices for something to eat or to enjoy some tapas. Then visit the fishing port from where the freshly caught fish is tranportiert in the whole province.
From there, it goes on and visit the beach of Yerbabuena, amidst the nature park of Barbate. It continues through a pine forest of the natural park to Los Canos de Meca, where you will visit the famous lighthouse of Trafagar. Then it goes to the famous surfing beach of El Palmar, where you can visit the beach and watch the surfers riding the waves.
Drive along the coast to the fishing village of Conil, the end point of your tour. After visiting the beaches and after an impressive and wonderful trip we return to the starting point.
