Tour through the White Villages of Cádiz

The tour begins in Arcos de la Frontera. As gateway to the "Sierra de Grazalema" it is the first stop on the tour of weiβen villages. It is a privileged vantage point and the top of a 96m high cliff above the river "Guadalete". Next stop is Ubrique. covered by limestone mountains, it is one of the most attractive villages and surrounded by the Natural Park of "Grazalema" and "Alcornocales". Its origins date back to the I.-II. Century AD. Next see Benaocaz, located in the heart of the Natural Park of "Grazalema" and a good example of the archaeological wealth of the province. In the vicinity is the ancient Roman road that connects the village to Ubrique. Here we undertake an interesting cultural walk. The village Villaluenga del Rosario sits dominated by grass of the plains and the forests of the higher areas of the mountains in a landscape. The small town center hides a rich historical and artistic heritage.
The journey continues to Grazalema, which is surrounded by a natural environment of the natural park of the same name. There is a hiking and mountain-biking paradise and the locals is a popular weekend getaway. Zahara de la Sierra is also in the midst of the natural park of "Grazalema" and was built on the foothills of the mountains from the "Jaral", in a unique landscape at the foot of the dam. Then the tour continues to Olvera, built on a rock and a strategic point between the provinces of Cadiz, Malaga and Seville. In this enclave is the rock of "Zaframogón", a nature reserve where the biggest collection of griffon vultures in Andalusia lives. Continue to Setenil de las Bodegas, an enclave of outstanding beauty and natural wealth. Thereafter, the transfer back to your hotel/accommodation.
