Devil's Saddle Hiking Tour from Cagliari

Wrapped in a history that is lost in the mists of time, the “devil saddle” takes its name from a curious legend that tells of an epic struggle between angels and demons, which took place over the skies of the Gulf of Cagliari: Lucifer, thrown from his horse, lost the saddle which ended on the headland, giving it the unique shape. The limestone hill holds a unique floral heritage, rich in endemic species and amazing landscapes.
Here, in the saddle, you can make a journey of the senses through the discovery of the fragrance of the aromatic herbs and their medicinal uses. From the top of the saddle, we will observe the characteristics limestone walls of the hill and the magnificent turquoise waters.
Immersed in the wildest nature, we revisit the historical events that have seen this place as a setting for many events. In the hills there are obvious traces of human presence: from the Punic to the World War II.
At the end of the path, there is a tasting area where you will taste typical Sardinian products.
