The Chocolate Tour

An interactive experience with the local cacao history given by a fun loving guide who has years of experience in all things chocolate. Discover the Ú SULE; the classic “tee pee” of the Bribrí and Cabecar Indigenous, used by the “Chamans” (healers) or for social acts and ceremonies since thousands of years. Travel to the beginning of the century, through an artistic reproduction, with sculptures, representing the life style and history of the afrocaribbean settlers of those times. Enjoy and interact in the traditional methods of chocolate making. End your visit with and enjoy the “burrocarril” station, an alternative way of transportation created by the cahuitan community.
