About this activity
Day 1: Cairns/Port Douglas – Cape Tribulation (L)

Picking up from selected hotels in Cairns and Port Douglas, your first stop will be the Wildlife Habitat to see endangered cassowaries and rare Lumholtz tree kangaroos. There’s time here to shop, snack and have your photo taken cuddling a koala (own expense).

Then head to Cape Tribulation for guaranteed crocodile and other wildlife spotting on a Daintree River cruise, stopping for stunning Coral Sea views at Alexandra Lookout. After a picnic lunch (included), stretch your legs on a guided walk through the Daintree Rainforest. Next, drive to Cape Tribulation Beach for a stroll on the boardwalk to the lookout, and then be taken to your chosen accommodation.

Overnight: Shared dormitory or twin-share private cabin at Cape Trib Beach House

Day 2: Cape Tribulation – Cairns/Port Douglas

Spend today at leisure, exploring the rainforest on your own, or upgrade to include activities to make the most of your time at Cape Trib! Snorkel the coral gardens of the Great Barrier Reef and fly high above the Daintree Rainforest canopy on a fun and educational zipline tour.

I really enjoyed this tour. The tour guide Lisa was amazing. I love the personal stories, her obvious love of the natural habitat and in awe of her knowledge. I stayed overnight at the beach hut. Fantastic food by the way but would recommend staying as otherwise would be big day. I missed out on night walk as booked out so pre book if interested. The staff tried to get me on tour and even offered me covered shoes as I didn't bring any. I was solo travellor so Lisa introduced me to Carmen who was to be guide next day which was reasurring. Carmen was so full of enthusiam. I love that. On return trip we had an additional unscheduled stop although brief was fantastic of guide to take us to ice cream place. I love that they can be adaptable . Saw a cassoway in wild on boardwalk . Overall a really good trip and price was great for what I got
