This is a fantastic tour that anyone visiting the Reef and wanting to pack a lot of sightseeing in to 2 days will love. Unfortunately for us, it had rained for 4 days prior to our visit and a landslide made using the train impossible...BUT the tour company bused us out to Kuranda and handled the change very professionally at the last minute. You will love this package!!
The two days were good value and very well run - slick operations with no hassle. Both the Great Barrier Reef and Rain Forest were fantastic experiences. The walk round Green Island was well worth doing and easy to work into the schedule. Food and drink excellent on both days. Would have been nice to see a few more turtles on the GBR!
The scenery was more than expected. Green Island Great Barrier Reef tour was breath taking. If anyone goes there, I would recommend adding the lunch as an extra. The food at both places was well worth the cost.The rain forest tour was another trip I would highly recommend. Going up into the mountains by train was worth every penny. If this is a Once in a Lifetime trip, do it. You will not be disappointed!
This was a fabulous excursion! Be prepared on the cruise with a bag to carry your snorkeling equipment. The equipment is included, but not a bag to carry it ashore. Also you will need change for locker use. Enjoy!
