Pick up from accommodation and transfer on air conditioned bus to Skyrail terminal. Soar over the ancient rainforest canopy on a gondola with Skyrail. Hop off at Red Peak and Barron Gorge stations to explore the rainforest and see the mighty Barron Falls.

Stop At: Kuranda Village Centre, Kuranda QLD 4881, Australia
Arrive at the funky rainforest village of Kuranda and enjoy a free shuttle bus to the heritage markets. Enjoy browsing the markets or visit the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary (you are entitled to 10% off your entry fee).

Great day if you have limited time and want to see as much as possible. If you're looking for a more natural wildlife and native experience, this is not the trip. The views from the train and skyrail are remarkable. But the rest is a bit touristy.
This is absolutely excellent value for money, it had breathtaking views and is a very fun filled packed day with lots of activities, the Duck Tour was very interesting and we fell in love with the Koalas, the Skyrail is unique....truly amazing day and a must do on your visit to Cairns, excellent Tour guide too
This tour was disappointing. The ride up on the skyrail is exciting, but you are not given enough time at all in Kuranda to do anything. They have wildlife encounters, a butterfly sanctuary, shops, eateries, and pathways. They only allow, on the tour, about 40 minutes in Kuranda. The advertisement stated all of those features but it was disingenuous because you actually don't have time to do any of it. We did not do the Rainforestation portion because we wanted to stay in Kuranda a bit longer than 40 minutes. It should be broken up into 2 tours because it is too rushed.
Excellent Skyrail Cableway trip up to Kuranda in the morning, but return trip via Scenic railway the afternoon was very hot and the views not so good if you are sat at the aisle end of the seats. Also felt the Rainforest trip intinerary was a bit cramped and rushed, would have like to have spent more time viewing the animals.
