Freedom Kuranda -Skyrail Up / Train Back - inc. Koala Gardens and Riverboat Cruise
Visit the beautiful Village of Kuranda, nestled amongst pristine World Heritage Listed Rainforest. Take the Skyrail Cableway up to Kuranda & the famous Kuranda Scenic Railway down! All Cairns hotel transfers will be supplied by our comfortable coaches.
Start your tour by taking the world-renowned Skyrail Cableway! Travelling in gondolas offering 360-degree views, you'll get to see the world's oldest living rainforest from above.
The approximately 90-minute experience includes two stops along the way, allowing you to walk through prisitine rainforest.
Get up close to Australia’s must-see Wildlife!
Upon arrival in Kuranda, make your way to the Koala Gardens (entry included). Come face-to-face with some of Australia's most iconic animals and reptiles! You'll also have the chance to cuddle a koala for a photo (extra cost) Explore the markets, shops and walking trails.
Afterwards, head over for lunch (NOT included) in Kuranda's oldest building, the famous "Kuranda Hotel". Choose one of the mouth-watering options off the main menu! The sit back and enjoy your meal with a lovely view.
After lunch, it's just a short stroll to the Barron River where you'll board the River Cruise (included). This entertaining and educational 45-minute cruise along the river will allow you to experience the tranquility and take in the amazing scenery, along with the chance to spot local wildlife, including freshwater crocodiles and turtles.
Finally, make your way to the Kuranda Railway Station (2-3 minutes walk) to pick up your train tickets.
The unforgettable train journey down to Cairns will show you some breathtaking scenery as the train follows the mountainside. Upon arrival at Cairns Train Station, you will be met by your driver, who will take you back to your accommodation.
