Rainforest Skyrail Cableway
See Australia’s magnificent nature from up high - go on a sky high adventure from Cairns to Kuranda on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. The 7.5 kilometer scenic cableway runs above Barron Gorge National Park in the Wet Tropics of Queensland’s World Heritage and is the laureate of a number of prestigious Australian National Tourism Awards. Hop into the cable car and enjoy the ultimate tranquility: soar high above Australia’s signature rainforests and stop at two scenic locations: Red Peak and Barron Falls, where you can set off on short rainforest walking trails. You can hop on the Skyrail either from Kuranda or Smiethfield station and get your camera ready to take amazing photos. Each cable car can accommodate up to 8 passengers, so feel free to invite your friends!

- Depart Smithfiled: every day 9:15am, 10:00am, 11:00am, 12:00pm, 1:00pm and 2:00pm
- Depart Kuranda: every day 10:00am, 11:00am, 12:00pm, 1:00pm, 2:00pm and 3:00pm
- Temporarily closed on the following dates: 24, 25, 26 Mar, 8 May-4 Jun
- Closed on Christmas Day (25 Dec)
