You will be picked up from your Cairns or Northern Beaches accommodation from approximately 8:30am (depending on location). After pickup you will head south to Paronella Park where you will join your guide for a very informative tour of the grounds.
Paronella Park is a unique Eco-friendly experience where history and romance are as one. Paronella Park is a magical place nestled amongst heritage gardens and acres of Australian rainforest situated on the banks of Mena Creek, south of Innisfail. The ruins of the Spanish Castle feature prominently on the grounds of Paronella Park. Visitors can explore the architecturally unique ruins of the castle and buildings of yesteryear, or wander through the lush gardens and Australian Rainforest. Afterwards you will have private time to wander at your leisure.

Mamu Tropical Skywalk is located approximately 20-minutes from Paronella Park along the Palmerston Highway. The facility includes more than 1100-meter of walking tracks through rainforest, linking the 10-meter cantilever, 350-meter elevated walkway through the rainforest canopy and the 37-meter high observation tower. Here you will enjoy a 45-minute self guided audio tour.

We have two young children and hence strenuous Treks and Rock-climbing hikes are Not really an option for us. Yet, we wanted to see as much of the Rainforests as possible and go as deep as possible into the Tropics. This trip turned out to be the perfect choice. The waterfalls at the Paronella Park are a beautiful sight. Children can spend a lot of time feeding the fish and feeding the Turtles and spotting unique aquatic life in the little streams. The Mamu Creek is a MUST Visit. Our host took us through a moderately paced walk- pointing many incredible and minute details on the way -- from nests to termite mounds to 1000 year old trees. Also, I can never forget that a cup of steaming hot tea magically appeared before me - just as I was craving for it!!!!!!! IF you have two / three children and want to spend the day in the tropics without them getting bored - This is the Best tour.
