Full-time knowledgeable, engaging professional local ArchaeoAdventures female Egyptology Guide and Tour Leader who will bring to life Egypt’s rich, complex and important history, as well as, help you understand the Egypt and its culture.

Bottled water (outside of meals) and snacks. We recommended budgeting $5 per day for bottled water and snacks.

Visa (purchased at the airport when you arrive in Egypt). American can budget $25 (though this price may be increasing). For other nationalities check with your local embassy for the Egypt Visa costs.
Traveler’s Insurance. We require all travelers to be fully covered for medical coverage and trip cancellation.

Site entrance fees: this includes admission fees to the Giza Plateau, Great Pyramid, the Sphinx, Saqqara, Abu Simbel, Philae, Kom Ombo Temple, Edfu Temple, Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple, Deir el-Bahari, Valley of the Kings (entrance to three tombs), Tutankhamun’s Tomb, Deir el-Medina, Valley of the Queens, Colossi of Memnon, the Citadel of Saladin and Mohamed Ali Mosque, the Cairo Museum, the Royal Mummy Exhibit. (Sites may be subject to change.)
Meals that are not covered are carefully chosen to give travelers the most flexibility in variety, enjoying free time, and the chance to explore new food they wish to try. For meals which aren’t covered travelers should budget $10-$15 lunches and $15-$20 dinners.
Private Dahabiya Nile cruise: We get to dock at islands, visit local families, visit small sites, stop at local markets and slowly take in the beauty of the Nile. The large boats cannot do this and only dock at the major sites of Kom Ombo and Edfu.
Optional single occupancy. We’ve included a number of single rooms for an additional fee.
Free time. We know how important it can be to have a little time built in for you to explore on your own or simply take a moment to relax. We’ve carefully planned our tours to provide you a balance between structured travel and free time.
This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund
