5-Night Nile Cruise with Flights from Cairo

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Meet a driver upon arrival in Cairo then transfer to your hotel, with the rest of the day to explore on your own.

Day 2: Aswan (B,L,D)

After breakfast, transfer to the Cairo airport to catch a flight to Aswan. Upon arrival in Aswan, meet a guide, then begin a motorboat trip to the Temple of Philae, located on a Nile River island. Continue to the High Dam, pause for lunch aboard the cruise boat, and spend the afternoon sailing the Nile in a traditional felucca. Overnight on board the ship.

Day 3: Kom Ombo and Edfu (B,L,D)

Following an morning sail to Kom Ombo, walk to Kom Ombo Temple, then enjoy lunch on board the ship during the trip to Edfu. In the afternoon, ride a horse-drawn carriage to Edfu Temple and keep cruising to Luxor. Overnight on board the ship.

Day 4: Luxor (B,L,D)

After breakfast, head to the West Bank in Luxor to visit the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon, then return to the cruise for lunch. In the cooler air of the early evening, visit Luxor Temple, which was built for the worship of the god Amon Ra, and Karnak Temple, where the Avenue of Rams leads to several interior temples. Overnight on board the ship.

Day 5: Luxor – Pyramids and City Tour of Cairo with Camel ride (B,L )

After breakfast, leave the ship and transfer by flight from Luxor to Cairo. Upon arrival, meet a guide and driver for a trip to the iconic Pyramids at Giza. See the pyramids and the Sphinx, ride a camel through the sand, then cross the river to see the treasures in the Egyptian Antiquities Museum.

Pause for lunch at a local restaurant before visiting the Cairo's Old City, where you can see the Hanging Church and Khan el Khalili Bazaar, the oldest market in Cairo. Overnight at a hotel in Cairo. 

Day 6: Departure (B)

After breakfast, a driver will transfer you to the Cairo airport for departure.
