Day 1: Arrive!
Stop At: Tourism Cairo Office - Cairo Airport, Cairo, Cairo Governorate
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, the representative will meet and escort you to your hotel.

Day 2: Giza pyramids and sakkara
Stop At: Giza Pyramids Tours, Cairo, Cairo Governorate
Hopefully, you have had an opportunity to induce settled into your building last night and skill a touch of Egypt! The morning will begin out bright and early with breakfast.
Visit the monumental Giza Pyramid Complex, one among the first Seven Wonders of the planet. The enormity and sweetness of the pyramids can wow you.
Take photos, explore the complicated pyramids, and find out about their history.

Stop At: Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids, Cairo, Cairo Governorate
Head to the Step Pyramids of Saqqarah, another historic and distinctive set of pyramids that solely Egypt offers. Your live lesson continues as you find out about the building of the step pyramids and their historic significance.

Day 3: Fly to luxor
Stop At: Valley of the Kings, Luxor, Nile River Valley
Depart for the airport and fly to Luxor (about an hour flight) bright and early.
Explore as much of Luxor as we can in our day here.
Upon arrival, visit the Valley of the Kings. This valley is home to the tombs of 63 pharaohs and nobles. While not all of the tombs are open to the public, visiting the valley is an awesome addition to your tour.

Stop At: Temple of Hatshepsut, Luxor, Nile River Valley
Hatshepsut Temple: Though the cliffs at Deir el Bahari seem to dwarf this stunning temple, it's size will amaze you

Stop At: Colossi of Memnon, Luxor, Nile River Valley
Colossi of Memnon: These massive statues set on a stunning backdrop of Egyptian terrain. These column statues were built in resemblance of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. While time has taken its toll on the Colossi of Memnon, they remain an iconic tourist location and give a peek into the ancient world.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Luxor Temple, Luxor, Nile River Valley
Make a night visit to the Luxor Temple to be able to appreciate it's full effect.
Duration: 3 hours

Day 4: Karnak temple, fly to Cairo & museum
Stop At: Temple of Karnak, Luxor, Nile River Valley
Meet your Egyptologist in the morning.
Head over to the Karnak Temple, the second most visited historic place in Egypt (after the pyramids).
Go to the airport and hop a flight back to Cairo where the rest of the trip will be spent.

Stop At: Egyptian Antiquities Museum, Cairo, Cairo Governorate
After landing, head to the Egyptian Museum which has over 120,000 ancient artifacts. This is a must see museum and one of the popular stops on the trip.

Day 5: Alexandria

We have set aside a full day tour of Alexandria for you. The most ‘modern’ of the ancient cities, you are sure to witness some amazing architectural feats, amazing ruins, and the integration of Greco-Roman influence into Egyptian culture.

Pompey’s Pillar: this beautiful 25-meter high pillar (about 82-feet) is a staple stop on a tour of Ancient Egypt. This pillar was built to honor Emperor Diocletian in 297 CE.

Catacombs: a place where you can truly see Greco-roman influence.

New Library of Alexandria: this modern library located near the Mediterranean sea is a fusion between appreciating modern art and culture and commemorating the original library of Alexandria which was destroyed.

Roman Theater: an ancient theater that is sure to wow you.
