Prepare for a real rustic Alberta mountain adventure at Boundary Ranch! The 2-Hour Ridge Ride travels high above Kananaskis Valley to capture a breathtaking view of the entire Kananaskis area. Journey into remote arboreal forests and enjoy the serenity of the backcountry with friendly and professional guides. For an additional cost, select the Ridge Ride n' Lunch option for a delicious BBQ lunch before or after the ride. Trail rides are suitable for riders of any level, and no previous experience is required.

Lunch was unremarkable, but the ride was fantastic. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They did an excellent job of matching riders to horses and ensuring everyone enjoyed the ride.
The ride was wonderful - two hours is a good length for those of us who are not used to riding! The guide Jayden was great. I would skip the lunch if I were to do it again.
We arrived early as requested. The ranch is beautiful. We did not receive a very welcoming reception from the receptionist which was the only negative about the whole morning. We were shown outside to wait for our horses where we met Cal who was to be our guide. He gave us a short safety briefing and we were helped onto our horses. We had a wonderful morning. Luckily the weather was very good. We went up some high trails and had some amazing views of Kananaskis. Cal told us about recent movies filmed in the area and the names of the mountains. It was a great way to spend two hours. We were all novices and it wasn't too difficult. On our return we enjoyed a nice two course meal in the restaurant as part of the deal. Very good value.
Was worth doing but like some already said it felt very routine for the guides and was very little character or interaction. revealing views was very nice but majority of the ride was just in tight trails in the forest with no view and i soon began wondering when it would be over
It was great! Beautiful views, mountain trails, calm horses, tour guide was helpful and experienced.
