Stop At: St Bene't's Church (Church of England), Benet Street, Cambridge CB2 3PT England

The oldest church in the county of Cambridgeshire, dating from the early 11th century. We will also visit the nearby Eagle Pub.

Stop At: Corpus Christi College, Trumpington Street, Cambridge CB2 1RH England

The only college founded by the townspeople, in 1352. Opposite is St. Catharine's College, founded in 1473. We will only see these colleges from the street.

We will also see the latest addition to the Cambridge street scene, the now-famous Corpus Christi clock.

Stop At: King's College Chapel, King's Parade, Cambridge CB2 1ST England

This is the centrepiece of the tour. The most famous building in Cambridge and an architectural jewel. Inside is a treasure house of great secular and religious art and craft. Not to be missed.

The 18th century Senate House was until recently the main meeting place for the University. Today it is where the students receive their degrees. It forms part of an historic core, along with Great St Mary's Church and Gonville and Caius College.

Please note that, with the exception of King's College Chapel, the colleges close to the public during the examination period which runs from late April to mid-June every year. The dates of closures vary from college to college. In 2019 St. John's College will be closed to groups from 14 May to 28 June and closed to the public from 16-28 June. Queens' College will be closed from 22 April to 14 June.

Stop At: Old dsCavendish Laboratory, Free School Ln, Cambridge CB2 3PY, UK

See the buiding where 29 Nobel Prize winners worked and hear the story of the Cavendish from 1874-1974.

Cambridge University runs eight museums, all free to enter. This is their museum of the History of Science.

Founded in 1473.

Stop At: Gonville and Caius College, Trinity Street, Cambridge CB2 1TA England

Founded in 1348, Caius has traditional links to medicine and is associated with 14 Nobel Prize winners.

One of the oldest pubs in Cambridge. Famous for its RAF Bar, where airmen wrote their squadron numbers on the ceiling during the Second World War.

The headquarters of Cambridge University Press, the world's oldest publishing house.

Stop At: Great St Mary's Church (Church of England), St. Marys Passage King's Parade, Cambridge CB2 3PQ England

Great St Mary's is a parish church and the University church. When students first arrived in Cambridge in the 13th century they used Great St Mary's for their meetings and teaching.
