This trip is long/exhausting but a ton of fun w/ pros and cons. They tell you to get there at 9:10 but the boat doesn't leave til 10 so 9:30 is fine. They do a long Spanish/English intro including telling you you MUST to use biodegradable sunscreen (which it doesn't say on the info online) and make you spend $20USD on a teeny bottle. But the people running the boat don't care. That said, they aren’t lying - regular sunscreen is bad for the oceans so if you can get some before arriving, you should to save Mother Earth. If you don't plan on going in the water, then it def doesn't matter. They are also going to try to sell you a bunch of other things - waterproof cell phone cases (get on Amazon before; it’s much cheaper), souvenir hats, sunglasses, etc. (they take USD). Once on the boat, the entertainment team are all really great. They come around with drinks (watered down and sugary), play music, go over rules, are super fun and speak both Spanish/English. The ride is rocky (especially in the beginning) so bring dramamine. Everyone sits on top so sunscreen, swimsuits, and towels are a must. 1st activity is 45 mins snorkeling. You’re required to stay w/ the group so you can’t just go in for a little. Life jackets, flippers, and snorkel tubes/goggles all provided but the water is deep so if you’re afraid, be prepared. Next is a 1 hr stop on one side of Isla Mujeres - they recommend shopping (lots of trinket stands/souvenir shops)/bathing in the beach but we hadn’t eaten so we got food (you don’t eat with the group til 3). We chose a little restaurant but food (cheeseburgers and tacos) was so yum/fresh. 2nd stop for food (buffet lunch); food was bland/unappetizing, drinks really watered down, but unlimited. 2 hours there and can swim, get massages, drink, swim with sharks, etc. Halfway before you get back, there’s the spinnaker activity. We didn’t do it because no life jacket and “excellent swimmers only” - none of us felt confident; looked fun. Finally, dance party as you head back. IMPORTANT NOTE: they will ask for a tip and call you out if you don’t. We paid $70 for this via Viator (and have to pay $13 each there) but our hotel offered the same exact thing for $35 so wait til you get there and check with your hotel 1st. There are SO many boats (they do the same things) so there is bound to be availability. Overall good experience. Had fun, would recommend, would do again!

Not very well organized. Also, there was never really a party. Several boats kept dropping us off and picking us up. I could have kept my money

I would highly recommend this Party Cruise to anyone. From the time I made the reservation online the staff was Excellent. Monica is an asset to this company. She responded to all of my questions and concerns and arranged for pickup at my resort to get to the piere. There was a nominal fee yet cheaper than a taxi. Thank you Monica. I mentioned we were going on the party boat because it was my daughters birthday. To our surprise the General Manager, Gabriel gave her flowers with a beautiful card. There were several other staff members that gave small individual candies with beautiful had written cards. I could not believe the love that was shown to my cancer survivor child (31 yrs old). At the piere several staffers met her with a Birthday Cake. I was overwhelmed. Their generous acts of kindness will never be forgotten. I tried to give Monica a $20.00 tip and she refused. She said “no ma’am. God Bless you and your daughter” I also tried to give Gabriel a $5.00 tip but he refused as well. OMG! We received VIP Treatment on this tour. The tour was great. We rented the golf cart and toured the island with our group. The staff on the boar was outstanding. I cant remember the guy who constantly provided everyone with drinks and beverages. The food at the clubhouse was outstanding also. They made the BEST Pina Colada, better than our resort. If i return to Cancun I will do this party boat again. It was Great and they have ab Excellent staff! Thanks Viator for making our first trip to Cancun a memorable one. God Bless all of you! Keep up the great work.

Tour ended up to be real fun. The music at first wasnt too great but once the booze started flowing and music changed we had people grouping up and dancing. It was fun but i just wish the music was jammin since the begining

This was the worst excursion I have taken ever! These crew members left us on Isla. We weren't late getting back to the dock. They actully seen us right behind their bartender. And they left 2 woman on a dam island. Thank the goddess another boat was willing to take us back. I am spreading the word.

Once you check in at the hotel location, they try and sell you an upgraded package for alcohol when you get to the beach. We said no, and we were just fine. It is about 45 minutes or so before you get to go on your boat. There are several other tours that go out of the same marina, so they have to load one boat at a time. Going out to the location I got a little nauseous, but not too bad. When we got to the snorkeling point, we had to get out and hold on to a yellow rope, so that we were altogether. Boat was going one way, current another, so you were banging into the person next to you and the water was choppy. I didn't see a lot of fishes and the things underwater Museum, volkswagon etc. were just okay. Too many people to really enjoy and I could smell gasoline from all the boats around, which made me feel even more nauseous. Once we got to the island, we ate, food was just okay, nothing fancy. Then we could play in the water and chill for about 30 minutes or so. My favorite part was walking around the island and taking pics and shopping. Also, once we got back on the boat, that is when everyone really started drinking and dancing on the boat. I enjoyed that the best! I might go again, but not sure if I would do the snorkeling part again.
