About this activity
Enjoy a convenient pickup from your Cancun or Riviera Maya hotel at between 7am-8am, then set board a shuttle bus to visit two of the premiere ruins in the Riviera Maya. During a guided tour, discover the ruins of Tulum juxtaposed against the beautiful backdrop of the Caribbean's white-sand beaches. Stroll past temples and pyramids, hearing from your guide about the importance of this archaeological site to the Maya culture. Enjoy a little free time to relax before boarding the shuttle bound for the Coba ruins.

Sit down to a buffet lunch at a restaurant before taking a guided tour of Coba — one of the largest cities built by the Mayas. Explore the vast ruins, and learn about its history from your certified guide. Climb to the top of Nohoch Muul–the tallest pyramid on the Yucatán Peninsula–before visiting a cenote; an underground swimming hole filled with fresh, clear water.

Enjoy the tranquility of the Tamchah-ha cenote, then drive to the city of Playa del Carmen. Purchase souvenirs or explore Playa del Carmen for an hour, then get dropped back off at your hotel in the early evening to conclude this full-day tour.

While the visited sites are really nice the tour was rushed. 1H in Coba is definitively not enough while 90 minutes in Tulum too much is. The stop in Playa del Carmen is worthless : the beach is simply awful, the water is full of seaweed and it smells awful. But the cenote stop (cenote El Gloria) was wonderful, cristal clear water, the place is so lovely. Sad that we only had 15 minutes to swim.

I loved this tour ! Our guide Jerry was very knowledgeable and there was plenty of time to explore the ruins and playa del carmen.

The tour was amazing, the food was local fare. Cenotes swim not to be missed. Unfortunately we had to reschedule our trip as the tour company went to the wrong place for our pickup. We also did not get to Playa del Carmen, as described on the itinerary, no explanation why?Should of been confirmed.
