Discover Scuba Diving Tour

An unforgettable experience, diving at the second largest barrier reef in the world. This tour includes: round trip transportation, one practice dive, equipment and snacks and soft drinks at the restaurant at the end of the activity.
45 minute approx., theory and one tank immersion at a 39 ft. Not recommended for minors.

Also known as diving lesson, resort dive, beginners dive, or sub baptism, this is our most requested program.
The Discover Scuba Diving Program was designed for the ones that have never dived and want to explore the underwater world for the first time. It is not necessary to have swimming skills.

The experience starts with a short briefing about the main safety guidelines, skills needed to dive, use of scuba gear, and communication underwater.

In contrast to other tour operators that take to practice in a pool, we are the only ones offering the chance to practice directly in the sea, to a maximum depth of 6.5 ft (2 m). Once participants are comfortable on the water, they will be ready for an immersion in the Mesoamericam coral reef, the second largest reef in the world. 

We dive holding a rope tied to the ocean bottom to a maximum depth of 40 feet (12 m). Everything is under the supervision of professional instructors. 

This three-hour activity starts at 12:00 pm (the duration depends on the weather conditions and the group).

RECOMMENDATIONS
Activity recommended for beginners and/or certified divers who have not dived for more than one year
Do not drink alcoholic beverages 12 hours before the activity
Do not eat 2 hours before the activity
Avoid travelling by plane up to 12 hours after the diving sessions
