Diving with Bull Sharks from Riviera Maya

Every year, from November to February, a significant number of Bull sharks migrate into the waters of Quintana Roo. Males mostly hang out in the waters of Cancun, and females, many of whom are pregnant, swim to Playa de Carmen. Bull sharks are able to survive in both fresh and salt water, and it is believed that females are attracted by the fresh water of the cenotes, which flows into the ocean.
