Day 1: TULUM
Stop At: Tulum Archaeological Site, Carretera Federal, Cancun - Chetumal Km 230, 307, Tulum 77780 Mexico
Day 1: Tulum
For your Tulum tour, be collected from your Cancun or Riviera Maya early in the morning. Once you get to the ruins, enter the site before the crowds and admire ruins against the backdrop of the Caribbean Sea.
Your archaeologist guide gives you an in-depth tour of Tulum, including access to parts of the ruins that traditional tours do not visit. Learn about the meaning of Tulum, the Mayan word for "wall," and the ancient Mayan civilization that occupied this site. Walk around the site and imagine how life must have been when it was occupied.
Your tour concludes with hotel drop-off.

DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR! We arrived at Tulum at about 9:30, 1.5 hours after it opened not the 7:30 Early Access that was advertised. Afterwards, out tour group stood outside Xel-Ha for about 2 hours waiting because Amigo Tours didn't have our park confirmation take care of. We wound up getting about 2.5 hours at Xel-Ha, which is not enough time to really enjoy the park. The park itself was fun, and the staff was very polite as we waited outside the park.
You have to leave Xelha at 5pm park closed at 6:30pm. Don't have enough time to spend in Xelha. They didn't give us Xelha tickets, that lead us to wait 1 hour at front of the park. After we run out of the park at 5pm, nobody picked us, unit 6:30! So make sure they give you Xel-ha tickets at morning, and pick you up at the end of day. Otherwise, it is a good tour...
