Friendly staff and good drink service. What else do you really need?
Well, all I can say is you get what you pay for. This is not a first class trip. They ,Viator or Somba messed up our reservations. Had us down for the wrong day. Our hotel helped us out with this . To many people on the boats. Bathrooms disgusting. All drinks are not good. Cheap beer. Lunch not good at all. BAD BAD BAD!! A very long day. Check in at 10 am. Last boat ours left after 11 am. Back to dock after 5 pm. Positive parts, Snorkeling was fine. The crew works very hard and are good at what they do. I would say pay a little for a better trip.
I purchased this excursion for my wife as a Christmas gift, and we could not have been more pleased. The crew of the cataraman were very accomodating as well as helpfull. It was a short 20-25 minute cruise out to the snorkeling area, and to our surprize we were swimming amid a number of different fish for nearly an hour. We were able to bring and use our own snorkel gear as we both have eye perscription goggles. The under water statuary was completely unexpected, we then continued for another 20 minute cruise to the island, and was able to go ashore for some shopping and beach time. We later sailed north for a short swim with a pair of nurse sharks don't worry, they dont have teeth. The buffet lunch was great, they offer a variaty of mexican and american cuisine, they offered salads, pastas, vegitables, two types of BBQed chicken and some fish. The sea bass was espescially good. The trip is about 6-1/2 to 7 hours long, so sun block is a must. However be sure to purchase a 100 bio-degadeable sunblock, and not just any bio-degradeable sun block. It should have two basic ingredients, zinc dioxcide and titanium dioxcide. They will not let you use any other type of sun block as it will harm the reef and the aquatic life surrounding the reef. I would recommend this trip to anyone that likes the water and snorkeling, or anyone that likes a nice boat ride.
Great cruise! Loved the view, the catamaran and the snorkeling.....However, the charge you a 10 per person port fee which isnt included in the all included price they sell you. So be prepared for that. Besides that, the catamaran was wonderful. The lunch food was ok por the price and the snorkeling was about 25 mins but nice.
We had so much fun on the sailing and snorkeling cruise!
