Punta Laguna is an ecological reserve 13,000 acres in size. In it you will find a rich biodiversity including spider monkeys, howling monkeys, coatimundis, peccaries, deer, different kinds of exotic birds and a very diverse flora.
Here you will be able to see up close some ancient Mayan ruins still covered by the jungle and if you’re feeling adventurous there’s a great zip line, canoes in the lake to ride and a cenote which you can rappel down to where 117 ancient Mayan skulls were found.
Your guide will lead you in a hike through the jungle to go monkey-spotting, and if you’re lucky, you’ll see more than that!

Coba is an ecological reserve as well as an archaeological site, the only one in which we can take a bike ride through. Climb one of the tallest temples in the Yucatan Peninsula and admire the stunning view of the jungles that surround this huge ancient city.
A place where you’ll admire many interesting and well-preserved stellae depicting the power of the Mayan lords and their rituals, a visit to Coba is not to be missed.
The tour also includes a visit to a cenote.
Cenotes were considered entrances to the underworld by the Maya, we’ll have a refreshing swim in its crystal clear waters and take some amazing pictures of these unique sites and their interesting rock formations while we rest a bit and cool off to continue our journey through the Mayaland.
