This was great way to see Chichen Itza without the long lines. Our driver and tour guide was knowledgeable and accommodating to our schedule. We had lunch at a nice restaurant with plenty of selection. It even had a pool if you’re interested in taking a dip to cool off a bit. I highly recommend this tour.

Brilliant day! The best way to see Chichen Itza. We were staying in Cancun. I was travelling with a fit 70 year old and a 9 year old.The car arrived on time. We had a toilet stop on the way.The drive is 3 hours with little to see. A bit like the Australian bush! There was a car DVD player but the sound was hard to hear. If you have kids take a gadget to amuse themselves. On arrival at the hotel, our guide met us at the car. We were provided with bottles of water. He spoke perfect english. We paid our entry fee-there are 2. One local and one federal. The tour took 1.5-2 hrs. We saw and heard about the main sites, with detailed information. The guide was able to direct us to the best photo spots. You are unable to climb the pyramids due to people falling off but also using the top as a bathroom urinating and an art canvasgraffiti. Even in winter it was very hot, so you need hats and sunscreen. My daughter the 9 year old suggested a sun umbrella and to wet your hat. We then had an a la carte lunch at about 2pm in the dining room away from the large noisey coach crowds. The restaurant had great food and had wine something Mexico does not have a lot of. The gift shop in the hotel was disappointing. We then requested if we could go to the Cenote natural swimming hole which is 10 min away. The driver had no issue as he was booked for the whole day. After paying the entry fee, we took a short refreshing swim. There are change rooms, locker hire and life vests hire. You need to shower before entering the Cenote. There is a really good gift shop. We arrived back at about 6pm.We were never rushed. I would definitely use this company. They are linked with the hotel. Another idea would be to book a 3 day tour and stay the night and then go onto Merida and view other ruins closer to that area and then return to Cancun via Tulum.
