Day 3: Celestun Biosphere Reserve & Campeche
Stop At: Ria Celestun Biosphere Reserve, Celestun Mexico
We´ll drive to the Natural Reserve of Celestun, shelter of hundreds of birds like the Pink Flamingos and other fauna, like crocodiles. We´ll take a motor boat in the estuary and through the mangroves for Wild life Observation.
Well go the wide beaches of Celestun to have lunch before we continue to the Colonial City of Campeche.

Day 4: Campeche, Patrimony of Humanity & Archaeology museum
Stop At: Centro Historico de San Francisco de Campeche, Campeche Mexico
This day we´ll visit the Fort of San Miguel, an important defensive fortress facing the ocean from top of the hills pointing canyons to the pirate ships. Also this place holds the Archaeological museum of Campeche where we can see the original burials and artifacts from the mayan city of Calakmul, a very important visit considering we will be going to Calakmul afterwards.
We’ll have a walking tour inside the City walls, visiting the Gate of Sea and Gate of Land.

Day 5: Magnificent Hacienda & Calakmul
Stop At: Reserva de la Biosfera de Calakmul, Calakmul Mexico
We´ll leave Campeche towards south along the Gulf of Mexico
We´ll visit the magnificent restored Hacienda of San Luis Carpizo, now is a military complex for
training special forces, almost no one knows about this place, but I once found out that asking kindly to the soldiers to let us visit the Hacienda, they kindly do it. A very interesting visit, also for the kids as we can see the facilities where these mexican soldiers train and live.
Afterwards we´ll continue to the region of Calakmul to spend the night

Day 6: Calakmul Biosphere Reserve and Archaeology site
Stop At: Reserva de la Biosfera de Calakmul, Calakmul Mexico
Today we´ll go deep into the core of the Calakmul Biosphere Reserve where the impressive Mayan Pyramids and Temples are waiting for us to climb them in the middle of the jungle, I have been there many times and the solitude of the place is fascinating, very few people visit this place as it is pretty far off the beaten track. But wild fauna as Spider or Howler monkeys, wild turkeys, and other wild animals can be seen in their natural habitat.
This visit will take mainly all our day, we´ll bring some lunch to the place.
We´ll return to the hotel late afternoon where you will have time to relax.

Day 7: Bacalar lagoon & Mayan city of Becan
Stop At: Lake Bacalar, Bacalar Mexico
This morning, we´ll go towards the Bacalar lagoon, but first we will stop to visit the Mayan archaeological site of Becan, the only one surrounded by a Fose.
We will continue to the Magical town of Bacalar, small town with a 18th century fortress at the lagoon shore, the 7 Colours lagoon.
Afterwards we will continue to our bungalows at the Bacalar lagoon

Stop At: Lago Bacalar (Lake of the Seven Colors), South of Cancun near Chetumal Mexico
