Tulum, Grand Cenote and Snorkel in Two Reefs from Cancun
1 day
About this activity
After hotel pickup, the tour heads to Tulum which was a grand Maya city ruled by Halach Uinicoob. See the palaces that still show their wealth in paintings and decoration and the excellent lines of zac beoob (white paths). Admire the infrastructure of a city from the 10th century and the incredible contrast between culture and nature. The turquoise waters of the Caribbean and the temples and walls turn this city into something unique in the world.
From there, head to Grand Cenote which is suitable for some fun snorkeling in its quite deep waters. It is considered the ninth longest system of wet or dry caves in the world. Enjoy time here and see the incredible formations of stalactites and stalagmites from a distance.
After this experience, go to Playa Paraíso, Tulum to do some more snorkeling and relax at the beach. This tour gives you a great combination of nature and culture as you head back to your hotel.
