The reason for a lower rating has nothing to do with our guides Max and Israel were great or the places we went. It's the amount of time we had in each spot. We didn't get to Tulum until about 3:45pm. After the guided tour which was awesome, my wife and I had to rush around to see everything and take pictures of what we wanted in order to make it back in time to leave for Playa del Carmen. In Playa, we only had a little over 2 hours of free time which just isn't enough time. I loved what we did, I just wish there was more time to enjoy everything and not feel rushed the entire time. Both sites are well worth seeing and I want to see them both again, just on my own time.
