The tour itself was great! I would have liked another half hour in the ruins and more time in the market though .The tour guide Eddy was wonderful as was the driver Pedro. The small group added to the experience as well. My only complaint was with Viator. When trying to confirm from Playa del Carmen they could not find my booking, then the wrong booking, then the wrong time. It all worked out in the end but make sure you confirm your booking and bring water shoes.

We had a fabulous time with our tour guide Uri and the great drivers from Cancun Adventures. We got water, snacks, and cool towels to stay comfortable during the trip. Tulum was picturesque with iguanas relaxing on the ruins and a beautiful beach you can relax by. The cave was beautiful and Uri was very knowledgable about the animals and geology of the cave. Lunch was served on a quiet beach under a thatched roof. Easily the best tour we took in Cancun!!

This tour was excellent. Cancun Adventures was great and so professional. Our tour guide Veronica was fabulous and so informative. Our driver between Cancun and Tulum was also excellent. I would definitely recommend this company!

Alex was amazing and the tour was informative. It gave us a great history and context. The lunch was great, the ruins were cool and the caving was comical and fun. Alex made the tour worth it!

I have taken tours all over Central America and the Caribbean, but this was by far the most memorable and enjoyable experience of them all. We stayed in Cancun so we had about a 2 hour drive to and from Tulum, our driver Edwin picked us up promptly at 6:45am and made us feel safe and comfortable for the long ride. We made a quick stop to pick up the rest of the group in Playa Del Carmen in addition to our incredible your guide, Said, and made our way to the ruins at Tulum. Said was extremely knowledgeable about every inch of the archaeological site and was very well-spoken and a great story teller. I was learning so much about the rich history of the Mayans and the surrounding nature that I almost forgot it was 100 degrees and felt like I was melting. I appreciated that Said was very intuitive and let us decide as a group how long we wanted to venture out on our own before heading to the underground river. There's some great souvenir shopping outside of the archaeological site but beware, as some places are far more pricey than others you can haggle with the vendors outside. Once back in the van, we were greeted by Said and Edwin with snacks and cold water bottles. It look about 30 minutes to get to the caves in the jungle, once you get out of the van, the entrance is only a few steps away. The cave swim was so incredible, I don't think my words can do it justice. Again, every step of the way Said had something new to show us and teach us the significance. The water was very cold although Said prefers we call it fresh and there are times that you need to duck your head to get through the cave. Once we all left the cave, we were treated to a delicious local lunch of ceviche, rice, beans, chips, guacamole, etc. your typical Mexican fare at one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. After lunch we jumped back into the van and arrived at our hotel in Cancun by 4pm. This tour was great for all -- young, old, big, or small. We are already looking into booking our next tour in Mexico to Chichen Itza and to swim with the whale sharks. Do not hesitate to book this tour, it was one of the coolest things I've ever done. Oh and don't forgot to tip your guide and driver, you wouldn't be able to do this with such ease without them! :

This tour was great! Everything was super organized and the size of the group was good small which offered a more intimate feel. We appreciated our tour guide Jacob's knowledge about Mayan history and culture which he shared with us throughout the tour. It was great to get to Tulum in the morning, because it was pretty hot by the time we left the site. The Cenote underground river experience felt extra special because we had a shaman bless us and ask the Mayan Gods for permission before entering...so it was a very spiritual, as well as cultural experience. We then went to small beach club nearby after the Cenote, where the crystal clear blue water was just breath taking! The lunch wasn't that great, but getting to swim in such a beautiful beach definitely made up for it.
