Whale Shark Encounter Private Tour
Your private tour starts with hotel pickup from Tulum, Playa del Carmen, or Cancun between 6am-8am (depending on your hotel's location). Greet your guide and climb into a comfortable vehicle bound for the marina. At the marina, enjoy breakfast with your private group and relax before boarding the boat to reach your first snorkeling location.
Travel by boat 28 miles (45 km) north of Isla Mujeres, learning about the migratory patterns of the whale sharks you are about to see. Your crew is made up of certified professional guides and/or marine biologists, and respect for animals is paramount on this tour. Suit up in the provided snorkeling gear and enter the water to spot whale sharks — the largest fish in the world. Enjoy personalized attention from your private guide, who will remain with you at all times.
After swimming, set off for Isla Mujeres and tuck into sandwiches and soft drinks. Spend an hour relaxing or swimming at the island's beautiful North Beach, then board the boat to return to Cancun around 3:30pm. You'll be dropped off at your hotel to conclude the tour.
