5-Hour Private Cannes Shore Excursion: Eze, Nice, Wine Tasting

First, head to Eze. Take a stroll through the old town with your guide. This old village is huddled around a substantial medieval fortress, with rocks and houses of similar hues blending into each other.

Afterwards, your guide will take you to the Fragonard perfume factory near the town of Eze. There you will have the chance to learn all the stages of the perfume production. Your guide will take you for a tour of the factory. At the end of the visit, don't forget to go to the factory shop, where you can buy some nice unique perfumes (on your own expenses.)

Move on to the old town of Nice. You will drive across the Promenade des Anglais, this wide promenade, facing south and flanking the sea along its entire length, provides wonderful views of the Baie des Anges and a popular place for a lengthy stroll. The guide will show you the famous architectural buildings located on the Promenade des Anglais: Hotel Negresco, the Massena Museum, Mediterranean Palace and you will stop in front of the old town near the Apolonia monument on the Square Massena.

Take a stroll through the old town with your guide. The visit begins on the Cours Saleya with its many small and cozy shops and restaurants. This elegant Baroque square is the home to the famous flowers and vegetables market. At the wine cellar Bianchi, you will be able to taste some of the best wines of Provence and the sommelier tells you how to determine the quality of the wines.

The tour continues with the visit of the Cathedrale Ste-Reparate built in 1650 by local architect JA. Gilberto. The cathedral is topped by an 18c dell tower and tiles that stands out on the Nice skyline. There will also be some free time during which you can take pictures or buy souvenirs.

Afterwards, your guide will take you to the Chateau de Cremat, erected amidst the lush vineyards of Bellet, just few minutes from downtown Nice. The castle is ideally located, 25 km from Monaco and Cannes, and thus, rather popular with wine lovers who come here to sample the fine liquors of the region. Chateau de Cremat winery offers wine, champagne and liquor tasting.

Finally, your tour ends in Cannes hill near one of the oldest churches, Notre-Dame-de-l'Espérance de Cannes where you will be able to make a memorable photo with the view of the entire bay of Cannes.

Then, your guide will take you back to your port of call.
