Historic Cold Spring Village Admission

Begin your Village Visit at the air-conditioned Welcome Center, where you will find an introductory exhibit on Cape May County History, and a brief orientation video about the Village. There is also a touch screen computer station offering a virtual reality tour of the historic buildings.

The historical landscape of more than 30 acres includes 27 restored buildings brought from across Cape May County as well as some authentic reconstructions. In addition to the historic buildings, visitors will find a working farm.

Experience what life was like for a 19th century student in the one-room schoolhouse. The school master or mistress will depict a typical child’s day at school in the 1800s.

The barn currently sits adjacent to the Village’s 8-acre organic farm complex, housing farming supplies and equipment as well as the Village Horse, Levi and calves. The Village farmer maintains heirloom crops and special demonstrations of equipment and horse-drawn plowing.

Within the Village, the Bakery, Ice Cream Parlor and Country Store sell snacks, and hot and cold beverages. You'll have several dining options to choose from (outdoor food and beverage is not permitted).
