Chapman's Peak Guided Hike in Cape Town
Chapman's Peak Drive in Hout Bay is world renowned for its remarkable engineering. A road built into cliffs that fall into the Atlantic Ocean. Above this drive is a trail that takes you to the summit of Chapman's Peak, where you can sit on rock outcrops and enjoy the panorama surrounding you.
The trail starts off on Chapman's Peak Drive itself. Only a short drive from the toll gate on the Hout Bay side and a security checkpoint will point to a small car park. There is no need to pay the toll if you are not doing the whole drive. The officer at the toll will give you a day pass.
Your passionate and knowledgeable guide will show you the way and point out many points of interest and natural spectacles along the way. Enjoy the peace and quiet and connect with your wild side.
The trail is easy for those who are fit and once you near the summit you will be able to look over to the eastern seaboard and False Bay. The vineyards and farms of Noordhoek Village on one side and the bright blue waters of Hout Bay on the other.
Rest at the top of the peak where you guide will help you get that desktop landscape or Instagram profile. See if you can spot the Southern Rock Agama lizard scrambling around the white rocks and enjoy the feeling of being free.
