This Tour is based on a Private tour.
Day 1: Drive to Hermanus for a boat trip then to your accommodation.
Light lunch and refreshments on board the boat is included
Garden Game Lodge includes a morning and evening game drive, Reptile encounter tour, Breakfast and Dinner.
Day 2:Wake up at Garden Route Game lodge and enjoy a scrumptious breakfast and Morning Game Drive. After the game drive we head to the Oudshoorn to visits the Cango Caves.
Day 3: After Breakfast we venture out to the Knysna Heads for some breath taking scenery. There are 4-hour excursions to the reserve departing from the Knysna Waterfront daily ( Optional extra at your cost). The day then leads us to Thesan Island in the center on Knysna or some down time and great shopping opportunity. The town of Knysna is buzzing with restaurants, shops, antique stores.
Day 4: We continue along the N2 towards our next accommodation the Tenikwa Wildlife Awareness Centre located in the rural area outside Plettenberg Bay and only 40 minutes from the popular town of Knysna.
along the way we Stop at the Monkeyland & Birds of Eden Sancturary. Here we have a guided tour through the sancturary.
Tenikwa Wildlife Awareness Centre rooms have a en-suite bathroom and digital satellite television. Rooms overlook dam with a variety of waterfowl.
Day 5: A Wild Cat Experience Tour at Tenikwa Wildlife Awareness Centre and a Trunk In Hand Program at Crags Elephant Sanctuary.
Guests are guided on foot through The Elephant Sanctuary. Guides will provide in-depth information and insight into African elephants. You will be introduced to our elephants in the forest area, and here you will be able to touch and interact with the elephants. You will see the special relationship that the elephant handlers share with their elephants and become a part of it. Walk trunk-in-hand with the elephants. See the stables where the elephants sleep at night. Guests learn about elephant anatomy and are able to feed them. On some hot or rainy days you may see the elephants swimming. Enjoy a drink and visit our curio shop.
