Half Day Wine Tasting Big Cat and Wild Bird Sanctuary Tour

You will be collected from your accommodation in Cape Town at 9:00am and driven to the Vergenoegd Wine Estate where you'll witness over 1000 Indian Runner Ducks marching off to work in the vineyards so they can eat the insects and snails off the vines, while you enjoy tasting their excellent varietal of wines. We'll then visit the Big Cat Sanctuary on the nearby Vredenheim Wine Estate, an educational platform whereby you will be educated about each species and their individual uniqueness and hopefully get to witness the White Lions, Caracal, Leopard and Bengal Tigers being fed. You will also be able to see their heart-warming personalities. During your visit you will be able to observe, photograph and enjoy majestic lions, leopards, Bengal tigers and the striking caracal. You'll then be whisked off to another wine estate called Spier where you will enjoy a chocolate and wine pairing or a meat and cheese platter. Spier Wine Estate has a sanctuary for wild birds and you'll be able to observe so many different owl species and Black African Eagles close up.

After the educational visit and various wine tastings your guide will drop you off at your hotel between 1pm and 2pm, depending on how leisurely you sipped your wine and enjoyed the wildlife!
