About this activity
Whether on holiday, celebrating an anniversary or enjoying a honeymoon, or any other special occasion this tour has what it takes to help you create memories above the sky of Cape Town. You will be collected from your hotel or guesthouse by one of our tour guides in a luxury sedan vehicle equipped with free Wi-Fi and refreshments on board. We will be drop you off at the Helipad in the Waterfront where a site guide will be waiting. You will embark on an up to 60-minutes helicopter tour and enjoy the unmatched natural beauty of Cape Town. The helicopter will fly up to Cape of Good Hope/Cape Peninsula also known as Cape Point along the Atlantic seaboard known to the locals as the “French Riviera”. The tour will be made up of these locations: Waterfront, Mouille Point, Sea Point, Bantry Bay, Clifton, Camps Bay, Bakoven, Llandudno and Hout Bay with its famous Seal Island, Simon's Town, cape of Good Hope Nature reserve  and Cape point where the two currents of Indian and Atlantic oceans meet. Fly over the breathtaking scenic Chapman’s Peak drive and see what makes our coastline unique from others. Enjoy the aerial views of Long Beach in Noordhoek. Fly over Muizenberg known for its surfing popularity. Enjoy the views of the Constantia wine route. Fly over the verdant southern suburbs with Newlands being the home of the rugby stadium. See Groote Schuur Hospital where Professor Christian Barnard conducted the very first human to human heart transplant on the on the 3rd of December 1967,  the University of Cape Town. Fly over Cape town central and return to the Helipad. Please take note that the helicopter will be strictly private just for you and your party .

After the helicopter tour, you will board the awaiting private vehicle and set off for a wildlife and wine tasting tour including lunch at carefully selected awards winning wineries and lunch at one of the  top ten exclusive south South African restaurants. Drive along the N2 towards Somerset West for an encounter with the cheetahs. Guests will have the opportunity to walk with and touch the cheetahs. From there you will set off for your first wine tasting of the day at Ernie Els Wine Estate.We then drive through the second oldest town of South Africa, Stellenbosch for a brief city orientation. Thereafter you will have a lunch stop at Delaire Graff Wine Estate (The JEWEL of the Cape Winelands) or at the Camphor restaurant in Somerset West. This tour includes a 3-course meal and drinks (wine and MCC). Should the Delaire Graff and Indochine Restaurants be fully booked you will be taken to either Camphor Restaurant or any of the other Top 10 Restaurant in the Cape Winelands. After lunch you can have your last wine tasting (optional) at Fairview Wine Estate for a cheese and wine tasting experience. The final wildlife stop for the day will be the chimpanzees, tigers and lions experience.

You will return to Cape Town via the N1 and your tour will conclude back at your hotel.

  • Please note: In the event of adverse weather conditions (strong wind), the helicopter tour will take off from the helipad in the waterfront and fly in the direction of Robben Island along the Cape West Coast pass Bloubergstrand
  • Should the weather conditions prevent the helicopter from flying, you will have an option to re-schedule the helicopter ride for another day
  • Please note that you will be allocated a private helicopter just for you and your party only. we have a 3 seater, 4 seater and 6 seater choppers . We do not mix you with other passengers.
  • As stated by Civil Aviation Regulations all mobile/cellular phones need to be switched off during the flight and cannot be used in flight mode as the device still transmits a signal that interferes with the helicopters radios. You are welcome to take pictures or film during the flight.
  • We are no longer allowed to fly over the top of Table Mountain as it is has been designated as part of a national park and is a protected area.
  • If possible, please inform us of your combined passenger weights when making your booking. All passengers will be weighed prior to departure, however supplying us with your weights beforehand will enable us to advise you if there is a problem with the weight of the aircraft you have booked. Should the helicopter be over its weight limitation, we reserve the right to upgrade to a bigger helicopter at the passenger’s expense, or one passenger can choose not to fly.
