Morning at Boulders Beach Half day Tour

Depart at 8am from your hotel and travel to Simons Town, home of the Penguin Sanctuary at Boulders beach. Your Photo guide will demonstrate a few techniques and tips to improve your photography. 

We will spend some time photographing these charismatic birds and their surroundings from both viewpoints, listening out for the famous 'Jackass' sound two males makes when getting territorial, before we make our way back via the breathtaking Chapman's peak drive. This winding road is cut into the enormous cliff face made of granite and sandstone which by this time is being transformed by the dipping sun. We stop at the top of the drive to take in the view back along the cliffs an forwards to Hout Bay Harbour. After the scenic drive, we continue on route back to your Hotel where you can spend a relaxing afternoon of your choice. 

Please take note that some of the routes and sights and weather permitting. In case of bad weather, you will be advised accordingly and allowed to reschedule for more suitable weather conditions.
